Patients with COPD
(chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, emphysema, cor pulmonale, etc.) should have a cumulative daily oxygen therapy duration of at least 8 hours, with 15+ hours being optimal.
Patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases
(arteriosclerosis, coronary heart disease, arrhythmia, cerebral thrombosis, etc.) and cervical spondylosis are advised to receive oxygen therapy three times daily—morning, noon, and evening—for approximately 1 hour per session.
